I've also read the responses in the thread and it looks like they're all referring to a feature that's exclusively available in the Accountant version of QuickBooks Online and Desktop. This is the reason why they suggested reaching out to an accountant that's using QuickBooks so they can reclassify multiple transactions at once. 

For regular versions of QuickBooks, you can open each transaction that you want to reclassify. Then, make your changes accordingly. 

There are also third-party apps in the Intuit Marketplace that offer services such as bulk editing of transactions. You can go to this link to search for accredited apps:
