It's a pleasure to have you here, @Smatt2. Allow me to chime in and provide some info about the QuickBooks cash account.

To order checks using QuickBooks Cash Account, you'll need to use an actual bank to transfer funds to this statement. You'll want to move the money first to a checking or savings account before moving it to QuickBooks Cash.

To transfer money, here are the steps:

  1. Select the Cash Flow menu.
  2. In the QuickBooks Cash section, choose Transfer money.
  3. Click Transfer out.
  4. In the From field, select your QuickBooks Cash account.
  5. In the To field, choose the (+)
  6. Select your connected bank account.
  7. Enter the amount you want to move out of your QuickBooks Cash account.
  8. When you're ready, click Finalize transfer.

Otherwise, you can also access the account and routing number from the same menu.

  1. Choose the Cash flow menu.
  2. In the QuickBooks Cash section at the top, select Manage Account.
  3. Click Account info to view your account number or routing number.

For more insights, feel free to review this article: Use your QuickBooks Cash account. This also includes some guides on how to put money in and take money out of your account.

In addition, I'll be sharing this resource that incorporates details about the Cash Flow menu including the envelopes, and the Cash Flow planner: Learn more about QuickBooks Cash Accounts.
