Buy nowHi there, kelleherk.
Thank you for taking the time to contact the Community. I'd be glad to help you with importing the copy of your data into QBO.
Now that you have selected to export a copy of your desktop data, you'll need to log into QBO next. Once you're logged into QBO, click the Gear icon in the top right corner, then select Import Data. There you'll see the question "Need to import QuickBooks Desktop data?," click Find out how.
From here follow the onscreen steps to walk you through the upload. This article provides additional information on the conversion process: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Getting-started-with-QuickBooks/The-QuickBooks-Guide-to-Conv.... In the article, scroll to the section titled "The Conversion Process" and click Export.
It's important to note the differences when you switch from the Desktop to Online versions of QuickBooks. This write-up explains the limitations of making the change: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Getting-Started/What-isn-t-imported-when-you-move-from-Quick....
I wish you and your business continued success. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Take care.
