Currently, there isn't a way to deactivate the automatic instant deposit option in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'd suggest canceling your payments account and sign up for it again without this feature.
For the charges, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payments Customer Support Team. They can check the processing fees for those transactions that you didn't approve as instant deposits and help fix them. They are available from 6 am - 6 pm PT (Mondays to Fridays). Here's how:
- Go to this link: Contact Payments Support.
- Locate the QuickBooks Online with Payments & Merchant Service Center section.
- Log into your QBO account.
- Click Help at the upper right.
- Choose Contact Us.
- Enter I'm being charged processing fees in transactions I didn’t approve as instant deposit transactions. in the What can we help you with? box.
- Select Let's talk.
- Choose a way to connect with a live agent.
