A compatibility issue between your system and the latest QuickBooks Desktop update could be one reason why some of your transactions are missing. To resolve this, I recommend restoring the program to the most recent backup. Using backup files is beneficial as it allows you to go back to a previous save point in case you encounter any problems.
To do this, you can follow the steps below:
- On the top menu, click File.
- Select Open or Restore Company.
- Choose Restore a backup copy and then Next.
- Locate the backup file.
- Pick a folder to decide where to save your restored company file.
- When you're ready, press Save.
