You can rely on me, Fprental. I'm here to provide additional insights about inactivating bank accounts in QuickBooks Online(QBO).

I appreciate you for performing the steps to disconnect and inactivate your bank. Since the bank transactions are still showing up, I recommend contacting our QBO support team to determine what's causing this issue. They have the necessary tools to handle such concerns.

Here are the steps to speak to our live representative:

  1. Click the Help menu.
  2. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  3. Type in "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact us.
  5. Click Ask about something else, then enter your concern.
  6. Choose between Have us call you or Chat.

Additionally, I suggest working with your accountant if you need to make an account inactive on your chart of accounts to ensure accurate bookkeeping.

I've also included these articles to help you review your account and ensure it matches your bank and credit card statements:

If you need further assistance managing your bank and bank transactions in QBO, let us know in the comments. We're always here to help you out. Stay safe!
