Welcome to the Community, gtorbenson. Let me help you import your data to TurboTax.

I recommend using a free trial QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) first before converting your company file. Let me guide you how.

If you don't have a QBDT installed on your computer, you can download our free trial version. With this, QBO data can then be moved or converted to QBDT. Please refer to this article for more details: Export and convert your QBO data to QBDT.

Once done, you can follow these steps to transfer your QBO data to TurboTax Business:

  1. Log in to your TurboTax and go to the File menu.
  2. Select Import.
  3. Click the From Accounting Software.
  4. Choose the QuickBooks version you had and click Continue.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

In addition, you can check out this article to ensure all the data and numbers are correct: Run reports in QBO.

If you have additional concerns about importing data, feel free to come back here in the Community. We're here to assist you 24/7.
