Greetings, @SciGlobal.

Thanks for joining this thread. Allow me to chime in for a moment and share some information about downloading bank transactions in QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA).

First of all, I appreciate you checking our Help articles. Yes, you're right! This also be applied to QBOA as well.

A possible reason you can't see your transactions for 2018 is that when you connect your bank, QuickBooks will only download the last three months or 90 days of your transactions. If you need more than that, you can export these transactions from your bank and upload them into your QBOA.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to your bank's website and follow your bank's online process to download your transactions to your computer.
2. Choose a supported file type for the download file.

Once done, upload the file to your QBOA. Here's how:

1. Go to the Banking menu at the left pane, then Banking.
2. Choose File upload on the Update drop-down.
3. Click Browse and locate the file you've downloaded, then Next.
4. Select the account you wish to upload the bank transactions on the QuickBooks account drop-down, then Next.
5. Hit Let's go! (or Finish) to complete the process.

For more information, you can also check out this article for future reference: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.

That should do it. Please let me know how it goes in the comment section below. I'd be glad to answer if you have any additional questions about the process. Wishing you all the best!
