You can generate a Transaction Journal report, which provides a detailed list of all transactions in your account, including dismissed payments. Once you have the report, you can filter and search through the transactions to find the dismissed payment you are looking for. This should save you time and effort in finding the dismissed payment. 

Here's how:

1. Choose the transaction toolbar and select Reports, then choose Transaction Journal.
2. The Transaction Journal report shows debits and credits for each transaction and provides a more focused view of amounts and accounts not visible from the transaction itself.
3. Locate the dismissed transaction. To quickly find dismissed transactions, use the browser search (Ctrl + F) and type "dismissed."
4. Select View under the History column to see all the information needed for the transaction under the Event column. 
5. Using the information from the Audit log, you can re-enter the transaction with its original transaction date.

It's important to note that once a transaction is deleted, it cannot be restored. However, you can use the Audit Log to recover the details of the deleted transaction so you can re-enter it.
