Thank you so much. I am so sorry but I don't understand the instructions. 

I have gone back to this. Its taken me two weeks to get over it! And it looked like I had succeeded as Quickbooks says it has imported the date but it only imports outgoings and not income. This is so stressful.

But I will take a break and try again otherwise I will take you advise and try the link you suggest. 

I thought this system was meant to make my accounts easier but frankly I would have done it by now on my spreadsheet. Its so frustrating.
