I know this is a bit late, but if you highlight the line you want to remove and then press Ctrl+Delete which removes the entire line.

Ctrl+Insert can also be used for inserting a line wherever required.

Note: This does not work on reports, only in the data entry sections like invoices, bills and cheques etc.
