Allow me to step in and provide some additional information about the password security in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

As my colleagues mentioned, the password security in QBDT cannot be removed.  I understand that it takes time to keep entering your login credentials when accessing the company file. However, this is designed to protect your critical data such as your Social Security Number, Company EIN, Bank Information (Routing Number, Account Number), or Vendor Tax ID.
