While some listings on platforms like eBay may advertise QuickBooks Desktop 2024 as a lifetime version with no subscription, it's not advisable to purchase software from unofficial or third-party sellers.

Intuit has stopped offering one-time purchase versions of QuickBooks Desktop for most products in the U.S. This change includes ending new subscriptions for Pro Plus, Premier Plus, and Mac Plus by September 30, 2024.
