You can run the Custom Transaction Detail report to get the necessary details as the A/P report doesn't display customer or job details, sheilamac.

Running this report displays the customer/job linked to the transaction type you created for Accounts Payable. Here's how to generate it:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and select Custom Reports.
  2. Choose Transaction Detail
  3. Click the Customize Report button.
  4. Go to the Display tab.
  5. From the Columns field, check Name (so you'll know the specific job and vendor assigned to a bill) and Source Name (this will let you know the vendor's name where the customer job is associated).
  6. In the Filter column select Account and choose All Accounts Payable in the drop-down. Then, select Yes or No to include split detail.
  7. Add other columns as needed.
  8. Click OK

Once done, you'll report will show like this.

For further customization options, refer to the guide: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

If you want to include these details in an A/P report, export both to Excel and manually integrate the columns. To guide you with exporting, open this article: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.
