Buy nowI can see why you feel that way, as it can interrupt your workflow, @GW36. I understand that adapting to changes can take some time, and efficient report management is crucial for everyone. I’m here to share information on the potential causes and guide you on how to ensure the Names show up on your transaction reports.
If you’re referring to the Name column, it’s important to note that the names will automatically populate once you customize the report to include this feature. Additionally, there are certain types of transaction reports that do not display names, so you'll need to specify the particular report type in question. Since you've migrated from QBDT to QBO, possibly there are some transactions may not have a payee assigned, which would prevent the Names from displaying. By ensuring that each transaction has the appropriate payee assigned, you can effectively display the names in your reports.
Here's how:
1. On your reports, click the Amount.
2. Add your Payee, then click Save and close.
