Deleting and reinstalling the app can help get you back on track. You’ll only be performing a few steps to accomplish this.


Here’s how:

 

  1. Refresh your Mac by rebooting it.
  2. Open the Applications folder either by using the Finder or searching in the Spotlight.
  3. Find the app and delete it.
  4. If prompted, enter the Mac user password to authorize the deletion.
  5. Launch the Mac App Store.
  6. Make sure to enter the login details so you can access the site.
  7. Go to the app you just deleted, then click on Install to re-download it.

To enhance the software's overall performance, I suggest updating it to the latest release version: Update QuickBooks Mac Desktop.


After completing the process, you should be able to open QuickBooks smoothly.
