I can see the significance of running the Project Profitability report when reviewing your income and expenses, @youngamyyoung. Let me share some steps to help you select the bottom number again and display the information you need.

Upon checking my sample QuickBooks account, I can still select the Net Income amount on the report. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to see if the issue is related to cache build-up.

First, try opening your account in a private browsing window. This will help us identify if accumulated cache on your regular browser is causing the problem and fix it.

Use either of these keyboard shortcuts to access this mode:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

If it works, go back to your main browser and clear its cache. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers as an alternative.

Additionally, QuickBooks allows you to customize reports to display the specific information you need for your business.

If you have any more questions about running the Project Profitability report, don’t hesitate to ask. I'm always here to help.
