Yes, every user can receive a verification code by enabling two-step verification, @beckypeterson113. Let me share some information about this feature.

The code you're receiving can be caused by the two-step verification security feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This helps protect your account from unauthorized access by adding an extra layer of protection to verify your identity.

If you want to turn off this feature, please note that if you're using the same device, you will not receive a verification code. However, if you're using a new device, you will be prompted to enter a code.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. From the left menu, select Sign in & security.
  3. Select 2-step verification.
  4. Turn off the Use 2-step verification switch.
  5. Enter your account password, then select Continue.

Additionally, you can visit this article to help you update your sign-in details in QBO: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.

Keep me posted if you have other concerns or questions about login verification. I’m more than happy to work with you again. Stay safe.
