Hi, Peterpoter.

I'd be glad to share some insights on how to update your linked accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, automatic updates run seamlessly and start automatically around 10 p.m. PT.

Can you please provide me the name of your bank institution? This will also assist me in checking for any reported issues related to your concern.

In the meantime, you can log in to your bank's website to check for any important notifications or messages that need to be addressed.

If there's no issue with the bank, you can log in back to your QBO account and manually update your bank transactions.

Here's how:

  1. At the left panel select Bank Transaction.
  2. Click Update.

You can also manually download bank transactions using a CSV file. Refer to this link as your guide: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

I'm adding this article to help you manage and categorize your transactions in QBO: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Our community is just one post away if you have more questions about your linked accounts and transactions in QBO. I'm more than happy to help.
