It is their go to cop out response- I have the same issue- it created this item we do not need or want and you can't clear it.  I have been complaining for years - they do not listen to our complaints  and fix anything- only way to do that is find people on here that find workarounds - BUT!  (sarcasm here) did you see their notice? they listened to us! (not!) and made new "modern view" reports - aka reports that look pretty to a non bookkeeper/ accountant- because we don't need pretty- it would be nice if they allowed us the freedom in online to make our books function the way we need them to and not their cop out replies.
