Thank you for your reply SheandL.  I don't think I made my problem completely clear.  We are running QB Enterprise ver. 24 on the Right Networks Remote Desktop.  I am the Admin for my companies and we have a 2 authorized users license package.  In the past, once QB was set to multi-user mode it stayed that way until I put it in single user mode, usually to import QuickBooks .iff payroll files.  I occasionally forget to return to multi-user mode after the payroll import.

In the past when I tried to log in as Admin and QB was in single user mode and the other user was logged in, I would get a notification that QB was automatically switching to multi-user mode and I would be allowed to log in.  The last time that happened since we upgraded to Enterprise ver. 24, I was not allowed to log in and had to ask the other user to switch to multi-user mode.  My question is was this a one off fluke or is it a consequence of switching to Enterprise ver. 24? And was it done on purpose as part of the ver. 24 improvements or is it an unintended consequence of some other change?
