Dear BettyJane,

I have trouble understanding your following response:

"Also, TurboTax has the option to set up a password when accessing your account. However, this isn't that necessary for it doesn't contain other personal details.

QuickBooks detects the presence of the following data and ensures strong control:

  • Employee and Employer Social Security Number
  • Employer EIN
  • Employer Bank Details (Routing Number, Account Number)
  • Vendor Tax ID"

If TurboTax gives the user the option to set up passwords, why not QuickBooks?

I don't know how familiar you are with TurboTax, but you should be aware that Turbotax requires a lot of "personal details." Specifically the same type of details as QuickBooks:

QuickBooks                                                TurboTax

Employee  SSN

Employer SSN
