CYBER MONDAY SALE 70% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends 12/5
Buy nowI have QB Pro 2020 which I run a small payroll on. I know my payroll support functions will cease next year but I refuse to mitigate to the online features as they are impossible and inadequate and frustrating to deal with. Do I still hold my user license for the 2020 software and will I still be able to access it in 2023 without paying a "HOSTAGE" fee? I can easily old school my payroll - I learned back in the days before quickbooks and computers - and I don't need qbonline for filing for my payroll reports - I can either snail mail or do them myself before I pay $3,077 a year "SUBSCRIPTION" hostage fee. This is nonsense. QBooks is forgetting its roots and what made is successful, which was the "Simple" and "Do it yourselft" Financial management software for small business owners. They keep using that matra for product sales, but it is far from the truth now. I see a class-action lawsuit in the near future, not only for product misrepresentation, but holding customer data hostage if they don't continue to pay a fee.. Not ok. I suggest everyone start downloading, saving, printing and making hard copies of their journals, ledgers and transactions to store manually if you think you will get locked out of your quickbooks data...
