Your safety is our priority, I_LOATHE_INTUIT.

I understand the importance of protecting your account from phishing and malicious emails.

I confirm that first name_ last name@ intuit.com is indeed an agent's Intuit email address. We have our escalations team who will personally reach out to customers with open cases that only they can resolve.

As long as the email received from @intuit.com doesn't have any extra characters and spaces, it's legit. You also want to read this link to learn more about how to protect yourself from security risks: Recognize and report suspicious emails (Phishing)

To ensure your data is well protected, I'd recommend reporting this to our security team. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Online Security Center page.
  2. Click Contact US.
  3. Look for Report fake email (or phishing email) and then click on it.

For future reference, check out our available self-help resources in the QuickBooks Articles hub. You may find related posts that answer your questions. You can also search for articles with steps such as managing your Intuit account, account management, and a lot more.

Please know that I'm just a comment away should you need further assistance in managing emails. Keep safe always!
