Good to have you back, nealbooks.

Let me share additional info about the error message you're getting.

QuickBooks Desktop won't open once a subscription is expired. Let's ensure that your payment details are updated. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) as an admin user.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop from your products and services.
  3. Select details next to your QuickBooks Product.
  4. Click Edit next to your Payment Method. Update your payment info. When you’re done, select Save and Close.
  5. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  6. Go to the Help menu and hover over Manage My License.
  7. Select Sync License Data Online.

For additional details and other troubleshooting steps on what to do if you see a “Your QuickBooks subscription has lapsed” message, check this article: Fix subscription has lapse error in QuickBooks Desktop.

Let me know how it goes by adding a comment down below. I'll be more than happy to help you again. Keep safe.
