Thanks for joining in on this thread, Iain baxter.

Let me share some additional info of what causes an option to be missing.

If you're not logged in as an admin, you will not see the drop-down arrow next to the Edit link under the Action column. Instead, you will only see the View user activity link. Here's a sample screenshot of what it looks like:

What you can do to get the option available is to have your Primary Admin change the access rights. However, if you're signed in as one of the admin in QuickBooks, and there's no arrow next to the Edit link, we can do some troubleshooting steps.

Let's open your account in a private browser or incognito to rule out any browser-related issues. Doing the private mode doesn't store your browsing history.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Once done, go to the Gear > Manage users and check to see if have the drop-down arrow. If the option is available, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Please make sure to close and re-open your browser afterwards. Alternatively, try using a different supported browser.

If you need anything else, please reply on this thread again and we'll be around to help you out. Have a good day ahead.
