Hello sistermbm!

 

You'll need the EFTPS PIN and password to electronically pay Federal taxes in QuickBooks Desktop. I'm here to show you how to reset them if you forgot them.

 

Once you're enrolled in Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS), you'll then receive your PIN and password. When you lost or forgot them, you can request IRS to resend the PIN to you. Also, you can reset the password from the EFTPS website.

If what you mean by "transfer information" is the direct deposit, you also need a PIN for it. However, it's a different one and not the same with EFTPS. Here are the articles on how to reset the direct deposit PIN depending on your payroll plan:

 

Once everything's good, you can now e-pay 940 and 941/944 tax forms
