The two-two-factor authentication is an additional layer that strengthens the security of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. If you want to stop using this feature, you can turn it off by following these easy steps:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. Tap Sign In & Security from the left menu.
  3. In the “Two-step verification” section, hit Turn off.
  4. Enter the code.
  5. Select Continue.

Please take note that you need to use the same phone number when you set up your account to receive the code.

If you're using a different phone number, you'll need to update it first so you can log in to your account. Once done, you can now turn off the two-step verification.

For more information about this process, kindly check this article: Turn on or turn off two-step verification.
