I can share some insights about the Accountant View in QuickBooks Online. You'll only get this view if you are invited as the accountant of the company file.
If you wish to have the QuickBooks Online Accountant's View, invite yourself using these steps:
- On your QBO profile, click the Gear ⚙️ icon and select Manage Users.
- Press Add User then go to the Accounting Firms tab.
- Use the Invite button to add your login credentials
- Lastly, click Save.
Please note that you cannot use the same email to access the regular QBO interface and the Accountant's view. Once you accept the invite, your account will be upgraded to QBOA, unless you use a different credential for it.
