With this, I'll make sure to share different details so you can start adding an accountant to review your books, make corrections, and fix any tricky transactions.
Each version of QuickBooks is designed to address specific business needs. With that, it might be you're using the QuickBooks Self Employed and that is the reason why you can't seem to find the accounting firm tab. If so, you'll have to go to the profile ⚙ icon and choose Accountant.

However, if you're using the QuickBooks Online account, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team since the issue persists after performing the steps you've mentioned. They have the tools to check your account and investigate the cause of the problem.
