We understand. We know how to turn off two-step verification. What we want to turn off is multi-step verification. All we want is password verification, nothing else. I suspect that none of the Intuit people who have posted here know how to do that. I also suspect there is no way for a user to turn it off. So Intuit should get rid of the default multi-step verification, and let the users who want two-step verification turn it on for themselves.

I really don't like it when a vendor presumes to know how I ought to run my business.
