The conversion has taken place - it only required 3 hours of time and someone who actually knew what he was doing.  

It only required:

1. Install Trial Version of QuickBooks Desktop Pro (10 minutes)
2. Sign up for a third party exportmybooks.com – and export the file to QuickBooks Desktop Pro (1 hr and 5 minutes) (Had to pay $199 to retrieve the file, but I have a copy now) – When we disconnected from the software, there should be a refund to my credit card.
3. Export the file from desktop version and import to QuickBooks Online
4. Tech Support walkthrough all of the steps to get each module done.
