Thanks for following up on this thread, My Priority.

There are several reasons why QuickBooks may not recognize a match. Check out the list below.

  • The data is older than 180 days.
  • The dollar amount in QuickBooks is different than what cleared the bank.
  • The transaction type is different in QuickBooks than at the bank and was recorded in a different bank account
  • The entry from the bank is a payment/ deposit of two or more open transactions in QuickBooks.

Since the entries were entered directly into the register, let’s verify that they're not matched to another downloaded transaction or have been reconciled. I can help show the steps.

  1. Tap the Accounting menu on the left panel to select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the View Register link for the bank.
  3. From the list, look for the transactions you’re working on.
  4. In the Checkmark column, there will be two green squares (R) if they've been matched.manual R.png

If they’re already reconciled, exclude them to avoid duplication. Here’s how:

  1. On the left panel, choose the Banking menu to select Banking.
  2. Then, go to the For Review tab for the account you’re working on.
  3. Tick the boxes for the entries you want to remove and hit the Exclude the button.exclude qbo.pngexclude new qbo.png

However, if they’re yet not reconciled, I recommend following the suggestions in this article: Tips for Working in QuickBooks Online’s Bank Feeds.

For additional resources, the following guide covers all the details on how to classify downloaded entries and reconcile them.
