I'd like to verify the versions you are using. Are you trying to export from Intuit Online Payroll Full Service to QuickBooks Desktop? If so, the IIF file is the preferred option for manual import into QuickBooks Desktop.
To set up the preferences, here's how:
- Go to the Setup tab and select the Preferences link under Export.
- Choose QuickBooks Desktop for Windows (IIF) from the Your Accounting Software drop-down menu.
- Click OK.
Once done, if you want to export the paycheck list and tax payments, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the Payday tab.
- Select Export and choose the Date Range.
- Click Update Report.
- Put a check mark on the paycheck and tax payments you want to export.
- Hit the Export button.
