We don't store ANY of that info within Quickbooks.  After downloading an update (patch, etc.), we now have to use a password when for years we didn't.  We really like Quickbooks Manufacturing and use extensively, but just not for any personal info. of ours, or our customers.  We MUST be able to get rid of the password requirement.
