Thanks for coming back to the thread, @NFulton07.

 

At this time, there's not a way to track the items and quantities when creating a Sales Order, however, we could run a Sales by Item Detail Report to see what type of transactions are associated with the items as well as the quantity sold. I'm going to submit feedback to our Product Development Team about bringing in a feature to allow this to happen within the Sales Order. In the meantime, here's how you can run the report in QuickBooks Desktop:

  1. Go to Reports at the top menu.
  2. Navigate to Sales, then Sales by Item Detail.
  3. You can edit the report by pressing the Customize Report button at the top-left of the report window. Choose what to Display and how to Filter the report, then hit OK to apply the changes.
