Ok, this is an easy fix -- Contact the development group and get a timeline.  Provide this information to your requesting customers.  Honestly, the fact that this has not been done for over a year makes Intuit look incompetent.

I thoroughly examined the PDF, and it's associated website, and could not find any legal requirement requiring a password in all situations.  Please provide more details.

 

Lastly, what is the newest version of QuickBooks that does not have this password requirement?
