I hope Intuit gets that (1) under many circumstances (such as a passworded computer with an encrypted hard drive) there is absolutely no need for a password, and (2) customers are getting annoyed enough that if this isn't fixed, we'll be looking at other products.

I have more than one company, and typing a password every time I change between companies is aggravating enough to have me looking at other software.
