The security measures in QuickBooks are there to prevent any misconduct that could potentially happen with an unlocked account. As you mentioned, the password is only required for initial login. All other means of protecting the data are left up to the admin, with individual user accesses and rights.

Similar feedback regarding removing the password requirement has been relayed previously by my colleagues. You're always welcome submit your suggestion as well. This can be done directly through your account by:

1. Clicking the Help tab.

2. Select Send Feedback Online.

3. Choose Product Suggestion.
