It's awesome to see that you're making use of your inventory module in your QuickBooks Online Plus account. This is a great feature for tracking your inventory. QuickBooks makes changes to the starting balance for your inventory easy to do. I can explain how to change the starting date on an item in your inventory.

Follow these basic steps for adjusting the start date for the sale of a product:

1. Go to the Gear Icon.
2. Select Products and services.
3. Find the product that you need to edit and click Edit from the Action column.
4. In the section before the inventory asset account appears, you'll see Quantity on hand and under that Starting value. Choose this link.
5. The program will give you a warning. Select Got it.
6. On the next page, you'll see As of date, and this is where you edit the date.
7. Click Save and close.
