I'll take note of your experience with our customer support so we can submit proper feedback to our Management Team. We'd like to have this opportunity to help you in a more timely and efficient manner in the future. Also, sharing features and options that you would like implemented is how our engineers look for new product updates. I'd recommend sending this request straight to our product engineers through feedback. Here's how: 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. 
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

 

The QuickBooks Online price increase is in line with industry standards. This is done to better reflect the needs of users while allowing us to continually improve the service and develop new features. To get more details, feel free to check this page: QuickBooks Online plans and pricing. This includes the new pricing lineup as well as the updated and improved features of QBO

 

On the other hand, For security reasons, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team to further investigate the issue regarding the data loss of your company file. I know you already contacted us, however, this is the best option to retrieve the lost files. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.
  2. Go to the Help menu.
  3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose the Start a chat option.
