QUICKBOOKS COMPLAINT NEW PRICE $399 to $799 - a 62.5% PRICE INCREASE
WOW!!!!! WHY SUCH A LARGE INCREASE?????
My Subscription was already expensive at $499 PER YEAR.
Now you are imposing a 62.5% INCREASE to $799 PER YEAR!
This is outrageous. I use a CPA firm. I only record money in and money out transactions
and provide quarterly and annual reports to my CPAs.
Why should I pay $799 a year for an accounting program where I rarely use anything other than basic functions such as making deposits, writing checks for bills, entering credit card charges to our companies, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing reports for our CPAs? I already had to spend $600 and 5 months of my evenings after work taking a Quickbooks certified course so that I can start using Quickbooks online. I attempted to change over to the online Quickbooks in October 2021. It was a nightmare . I had to switch back to my Quickbooks Pro desktop version. My data did not transfer correctly and some data became corrupted. Over 3 years of reconciliations for one of my companies were lost. So now I cannot reconcile those bank statements each month. Transactions that cleared three years ago became uncleared. Who's going to pay to fix this mess? My CPA Quickbooks professor said I need a Quickbooks expert to correct this disaster. I called the Quickbooks tech support line. The representatives are very difficult to understand because they are located in another country and English is not their first language. They spend almost an hour trying to sell me something that I don't need or want rather than solving my problem. That is unacceptable. I paid for tech support not a salesman wasting my time.
Why do you not offer the Quickbooks Pro Desktop version geared for small businesses online? The online version takes a seasoned accountant or CPA to understand how to use the Quickbooks Online 2022 version.
It is time to get another accounting program that is simpler and user friendly.
I am also selling all my Intuit stock holdings.
Quickbooks is making a big mistake by raising fees so exorbitantly and price gouging loyal customers.
