To add subtotals to estimates, you can use your Add subtotal option while creating or editing an estimate.

Here's how:

  1. From the Estimates screen, create a new estimate, or locate one and edit it.
  2. At the bottom of your Product or Service section, use the drop-down arrow next to Add Product and Service.
  3. Select Add subtotal.

You can now add a subtotal to your estimate.

If you need to customize an estimate further to include additional subtotals, you can review some of your form customization options in our Customize estimates article.

In the event you're unable to customize the form with the totals you'd like to see on it, you can consider submitting a product suggestion about adding this feature to QuickBooks.

Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a great Thursday!
