Currently, this functionality is only available in the QuickBooks Online version. I recommend providing feedback about this to help our engineers enhance your experience when using the software. Here's how:

1. Go to the Help menu, then hit Send Feedback Online. 
2. Select Product Suggestion.                                                                                                                                                                           
3. Enter your suggestion "Send invoices through text messages (SMS)".
4. Fill in all the needed information.
5. Once done, click on Send Feedback.
