I appreciate you both for getting back and providing updates on the results of the troubleshooting steps you've done to resolve the issue with the QuickBooks Online for Mac app.

 

In the meantime, I suggest resetting the app's data to re-establish its connection. The app store data can be the reason behind the hurdle you've experienced. Here's how:

 

Unusual behaviours, like spinning circles and unresponsive pages/windows, are caused by the accumulated cache in the app. Since you've done clearing the cache, this time, let's reset the app's data to re-establish its connection. The app store data can be the reason behind the hurdle you've experienced. Here's how:

 

  1. Select Help from the top menu bar. 
  2. Choose Reset App Data.
  3. Close and re-open your QuickBooks App for Mac.

 

However, if the issue persists, you can uninstall and reinstall the app to start over fresh. To install the app, visit this link: The QuickBooks for Mac is here.
