Intuit just sent me an offer to upgrade my QB to 2023 (because I am using Dimond edition enterprise).

2023 does not have scanning capabilities. It is the same as in 2022. 

Looks like Intuit has no plans to bring back the scanning function. I will stick with 2021 or move to different accounting software.
