Buy nowI use Scan manager constantly. It is automatic and requires a minimal amount of time. I literally attach hundreds of documents weekly to transactions, all using scan manager. I cannot upgrade to any new versions of QB desktop until I can carve out the time to scan documents and manually attach them. I am not sure if you are aware of the manual process but it takes twice as long, if not longer, to do. I am not sure where that time will come from. Every scan will now have to be named so that I know where to attach it and then, it goes in a folder on the computer and dragged into the doc center. After that I have to navigate there or to the computer and manually attach it. Finally, I have to go to the original scanned document folder and delete the documents because at this point they are detritus. This is way too much work. Why did they eliminate such a powerful tool. It is literally insane. I need that automation put back where it belongs!
