Hi there. Let's work together to figure out the cause of the issue and resolve it immediately.
To clarify, may I know what QBO version you're using? Adding Custom fields is only available for users who subscribe to QBO Essentials, Plus, and Advanced. You can verify it by performing these steps:
- Select the Gear icon and choose Accounts and Settings.
- Next, go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
- From there, you'll see what your QBO version is.
If confirmed that you're using either of the version mentioned above, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Let's start with accessing your account via incognito mode. This will provide you with a clean slate to prevent odd behaviours when running websites. Below are the shortcut keys you can use:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari: press Command + Shift +N
When signed in, create a custom field again. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select All lists.
- Choose Custom Fields.
- Click Add custom field.
- Enter the name of the field you need to add. Example: Shipping.
- Next, check the box for the sales form you want the custom field to appear.
- Turn on the Print on form button if needed.
- Once done, select Save.
It's also easy to modify your sales forms template to add the details that are suitable to your business.
