Hello there, @laughable accountant. I'm here to provide additional troubleshooting steps to ensure the Shipping field will not show on your invoice.
To begin, make sure that the Shipping box in the Custom form styles page is unchecked. Once done, attempt to create an invoice and choose the correct template so the changes made will reflect on the form.
If you still encounter the same thing, I recommend clicking the Gear icon in the form and ensuring that the Shipping box is disabled.
If the same thing happens, I suggest clearing the cache of your regular browser to eliminate the stored cache. This is a component of the browser that helps speed up the loading process when accessing websites but sometimes gets damaged which results in odd behaviour. That said, doing the process will help us determine if this is a cache-related issue. On the other hand, you can use another supported browser or device. Might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.
Please let me know the steps goes. I'd love to hear any updates about this. If you have further concerns about managing invoices in QuickBooks, feel free to leave a reply below. I'm always ready to lend a hand. Have a good one and take care.
