Thanks for joining us here in the Community. I’m here to help prevent the categorization of your transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
To avoid transactions automatically changing their category, let’s double-check this setting on your account, then edit or delete it if necessary.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon at the top, select Rules.
- Look for the rule you need to review.
- Pick Edit to modify it.
- Otherwise, click the Edit drop-down and choose Delete.
Please note that if you delete a rule, it won't be applied going forward. However, it also does not erase anything that's been applied so far.
